I’ve had a few enquiries from patients in recent days, asking if we are open: the good news is, we are. However, there are some limitations on what we can do for you.
Until Gladys releases the Wingecarribee from the current restricted conditions we are all enjoying (!), we have temporarily suspended some preventative services. This affects appointments with Sacha Prater and Dr Miree Cho for regular hygiene maintenance, cleaning teeth and other services that can reasonably be delayed for a few weeks without too much going wrong.
But — if you do have concerns over any aspect of your dental health, we can still offer an appointment to manage the problem, especially if it’s a problem with gums or soft tissues.
We’re committed to serving Moss Vale, Bowral and Mittagong — in fact, the whole of the Southern Highlands, through the pandemic and we’ll always be here for your dental care.
We are still open to treat and fix problems that, left to themselves will get worse and cause more serious concerns. We realise that for most people, dental care isn’t an optional choice, and we recognise when you need care, you really need it — so my staff and I are happy to assist.
Protocols During the Pandemic
Before Your Appointment
If you have not had a recent appointment, we will ask you three questions:
1. Have you been in a Covid Hot Spot recently?
2. Have you been in contact with anyone with Covid?
3. Are you well in yourself? Do you have any symptoms of Covid 19?
Arriving At The Practice
Unless you actually are a potato, you will need to wear a mask when you arrive for your appointment. If you do not have a mask, we are happy to provide a disposable mask for you — please ask.
We have a QR sign-in displayed on our front door and also at Reception. For those without a smartphone, we will have a sign-in sheet available to comply with NSW Health directives.
We have an alcohol hand-rub available in several locations within the office for your use.
Please keep your mask on when you are in Reception and until you enter the treatment room: once you have entered, you can remove your mask (and we will wear our masks).
At the end of your appointment, please put your mask on and we’ll escort you to reception to make your next appointment.
Don’t forget to sign out, too.
We’re doing everything we can to observe the CovidSafe recommendations. If you have any questions, please call 4869 3111.
