I was chatting to one of our patients this week, and she told me a fascinating story about how the modern world works. She wanted a quote for a solar roof panel installation at her home, and at one company she asked, they didn’t want to visit her property to measure up or anything boring like that: they got the address, a copy of her last electricity bill, and Googled her instead! They could work out the square area of her roof, do the maths and send a quote, all without leaving their office.
