What is the ADA?

Patrick • March 15, 2017

We sometimes mention that Patrick is “doing some things for the ADA”. Perhaps you have wondered this organisation is? Patrick is currently one of the eight directors of the board of the NSW branch and enjoys being vice president. Established in 1929 the ADA supports dentists and promotes oral health in the community. The organisation strives for excellence in dentistry and provides support through fellowship, mentoring, further education and resources such as their library. The ADA is also active in lobbying government to improve oral health standards such as their save the CDBS campaign. So it’s pretty good to know that there is an industry body out there looking after dentists and in turn looking after patients. You might even like to check out their website or Facebook page.
